The scene opens with Violet walking up to the quicksand pit and showing off her short black dress & heels, along with her white pantyhose. She picks up a stick, and probes the pit, then tries putting one of her shoes in. Intrigued, Violet sits down by the pit and puts first one, then the other foot into the quicksand. Picking up the stick again, she probes the depth more and decides to go for it, slipping into the quicksand fully.
