Horrified by Lady Penelope's dupliciousness, Squire Bullship decides that she will be caned by Mary, Dr Thwackum and himself. Mary proves to be a highly competent caner and soon has Her Ladyship's bottom dancing under the swish of the cane. The men then have a job keeping up the standard set by the cane-wielding maid. No finer bottom has ever endured the cane! (SP48)
