Alex has been ordered to put in some corner time because she's been rude to Step-Mom about the food that's been put in front of her for dinner, as well as being lazy around the house. Step-Mom Elizabeth has had enough of Alex's poor eating habits and has been making healthy meals for her step-daughter, but Alex refers to Step-Mom's cooking as "slop" and this has become the last straw for Elizabeth.
