Stefania makes our second attempt to blow a soccer ball bladder to bursting, after many months of trying to find more of them. This time, we have managed to insert a larger tube through the needle receiver, so as to keep the back pressure more reasonable. Stefania makes our second attempt to blow a soccer ball bladder to bursting, after many months of trying to find more of them. This time, we have managed to insert a larger tube through the needle receiver, so as to keep the back pressure more reasonable. That said, she's still pushing her full lung capacity through about a 3/16" diameter tube, so there is still some back pressure (her cheeks tell the story), but nothing like trying to blow through a sports ball inflation needle. Stefania has her foot pump at the ready, but handles this one entirely by lung power. The bladder feels like a thick balloon when uninflated, and develops "stretch marks" early on, so Stefania is quite surprised that it keeps going and going to enormous size. At one point, she changes her setup to move it farther away from her face. The end is certainly nothing if not dramatic...
