In a dark run-down motel, the evil mad scientist, Dr Krool is putting the finishing touches on his plans for world domination. As he completes work on his doomsday device, he is interrupted by a petite, attractive, young woman; our hero, Korona, the Solar Powered Girl!

Dr Krool informs Korona that he's never heard of her and asks her what kind of superheroine she is. After some virtue-signaling, Krool decides that Korona has no superpowers and asks her to leave. When she refuses, Dr Krool accidentally uncovers Korona's secret weakness, Cryptionite!
