Another go at having a drive out in the Renault guys! This one ended a little more disastrously though!

My friend and I went out for the evening last Saturday, Me dressed all in black.....black tights, black shoes, black dress and black coat. When we got back we took the Renault out for another drive (Her idea!) up the same bumpy back lane. The intention had been to record a similar series of videos as I had done previously, this time with Her holding the camera.

Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. The weather in England at present is quite stormy and it was raining...

When we got back we took the Renault out for another drive (Her idea!) up the same bumpy back lane. The intention had been to record a similar series of videos as I had done previously, this time with Her holding the camera.

Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. The weather in England at present is quite stormy and it was raining that night. As a result I had the blower running to try and keep the front screen clear, the heated rear window on, the lights on as it was dark and for some reason (my sub-conscious panic I suppose) I was riding the clutch with the car in gear whilst trying to restart the engine.

The result of all this was I flattened the battery. The Renault kept restarting and stalling; each time I had to restart I took a little more out of the battery until the engine would no longer crank. It was actually my friend who called time on the recording; this was Her first time out in the Renault so if I was panicking a little, She most certainly was!

Most of the recording is from the perspective of the rear passenger seat with a few minutes from the front passenger seat as well as standing outside the passenger door. Ever sat watching a woman try and start Her car in the rain, the noise of the rain pattering against the roof? Whilst every so often you hear the noise that gives away the fact that the battery is flat? "Ru..........ru..........ru" You will here! I invite you to join Me and my friend, stranded in a lane at 2am!
