In the past, Anabelle Pync had lost her shoe to a monster but he graciously returned it to her without letting her know that the shoe is possessed by his spirit. While casually sitting, she notices that her pump chafes against her foot, as if there is a rock in it. Slipping it off, she leaves it on the ground and crosses her leg while flexing and wiggling her toes.
