At the same time, all of Dracula's family have disappeared for two reasons: the lack of virgins in their hometown and the way the family's reputation prevents any normal family from choosing to take women to Dracula's castle. Shortly after his arrival in Italy, Dracula befriends Il Marchese Fiore, an impecunate Italian landowner who, with a sumptuous estate in decline, is willing to marry one of his four daughters to the wealthy aristocrat.
Of the four daughters of di Fiore, Saphiria and Rubinia regularly enjoy the sexual services of Mario, the handyman on the estate, a proud farmer. Esmeralda and Perla are virgins; Esmeralda has thought too clearly and is past her prime for marriage and Perla is only 23 years old. Dracula gets assurances that all of the daughters are virgins and drinks of the two that are considered marriageable. However, he is "defiled" reveals the truth to him and makes him even weaker. However, he is able to turn the two girls into his telepathic slaves.
Immediately after the Marquis Fiore has gone out of Italy to pay his large debts, Mario discovers that Dracula is a vampire and what he has done to Fiore's sisters. When he realizes the danger that Dracula poses to Pearl, her youngest, he uses the excuse of protecting her. Mario then warns Fiore's wife, The Marchesa di Fiore, of Dracula's plan. Meanwhile, Dracula drank from Esmeralda, turning her into a vampire and regaining her strength. Mario will become the de facto owner and manager of the estate.
