John Marsh takes a playful leap into a pool of harmless looking mud. He quickly discovers that it is bottomless quickmud. He thrashes around, trying to break the grip of the muck, but he just keeps sinking deeper. Eventually, he is pulled below the surface and we see the bubbles breaking on the surface as he expels the air from his lungs.
