Using a foam roller for massaging your muscles is a great tool. After any type of physical workout or just being sore using a foam roller can be absolutely awesome. As an ex ballet dancer, my foam roller was the best tool I had to stretch out my sore muscles. I still continue to use it in my daily life and incorporate it in some of my asanas. Using the foam roller especially on the IT band can help reduce tightness and injuries. -NYV...
