Angie is in the OR for hallux surgery. The med team preps her, first removing her toe polish. They place the BP cuff and heart monitor electrodes. They use old style hair isolation. When everything is ready they place a transparent mask onto her face. She starts deep breathing. When she is relaxed they start ambu bagging her. After that they intubate her with an LMA - a very detailed procedure here - and tape her face and eyes too.
