Wood was pretty sure that they didn't have Covid-19, but just to be safe they scheduled a house call to avoid spreading it. I love house calls! Clinical settings can be so stuffy and bureaucratic, but when I'm alone with a patient I can really give them the bedside manner they deserve. There's also no doctor around to give me the business for doing things slightly off the book. When I find out that someone's a virgin like Wood, I just can't help myself from asking all sorts of invasive personal questions. Between you and me, I even get off on it a little bit.
