This practice contains modified Sun Salutations which transition into heart openers and side planks. It works the core and stretches the hamstrings. Long term benefits include the general benefits that exercise and meditation bring such as mind refreshment and endorphins and increased flow to muscles. This sequence has some intense exercise-like poses as well and some relaxing cool down stretches. It is welcome to all levels except for super beginners.
